Empire Academy Childcare Center, a family-owned and operated childcare center, has served the community for over 31 years. Our goal is to provide quality care in a safe and nurturing environment. We strive to meet the growing needs of the community by providing affordable quality childcare, preschool, and before and after school programs. We believe that by providing a nurturing, playful, and consistent environment with clear boundaries, goals, and guidelines, children are empowered to make good choices independent of adult interference.

Our Childcare Philosophy
Our philosophy at Empire Academy Center is to provide your child with positive, wholesome learning experiences and opportunities to supplement your own home training and guidance. We believe in developmentally appropriate practices on both age and intelligence levels. We also believe that children should have hands-on experiences which are child-led and teacher-guided.
Our goal is to have as many learning centers as there are interests and needs. All aged children have the capacity to learn and find fun in almost any learning situation. We want to provide challenges for their minds and bodies, keeping their interests alert but within the range of their abilities so as not to dampen their spirit. We will encourage creativity, imagination, and curiosity in all areas.
We want foremost to give your child the feeling of his or her own self-worth. We want your child to realize that he/she is a very special person and no one can ever be exactly like him/her.
Because when one knows that they are loved and appreciated, they love and appreciate others as well as themselves.

Empire Academy Childcare Center offers healthy meals to all enrolled children as part of our participation in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Parents, please know all liquids and food hotter than 110° F are kept out of the children’s reach. We prefer NO lunch brought from home. However, if you should have to bring in lunch, know that we do not allow any foods to be shared due to possible allergies. Staff is educated on Nutrition and Food allergies, and they take precautions to ensure the kids are protected. Also, please keep in mind all foods brought into the Center must be Commercially packaged and prepared.

Learning Environment
A pleasant environment is more essential in the classroom than most people realize. Controlled studies show that a definite relationship exists between proper classroom lighting, seating and decorations, and measurable success in learning. Empire Academy Childcare Center, therefore, attempts to maintain its classrooms according to the highest practicable standards. Lighting is adequate, and rooms are decorated in attractive colors. All classrooms are air-conditioned.

Our Curriculum
